This kid is so awesome. He's such a caring and considerate boy and we couldn't have asked for a better first born and big brother. He is smart and funny and we adore him.

His choice of birthday dinner...yep, he chose vegetarian sausages and mashed potato stew (mashed potato, steamed veg and gravy). There's no way to make this meal photogenic so I didn't even try.

Oh and our car had a birthday makeover as well...
On Saturday we had a trip to Shepparton. Louis invited his friend James along as well. Poor Michael had hurt his back through the week so I was on my own with 5 kids! Therefore, I have only a few photos because it was a busy day! We had lunch at Hungry Jacks followed by a play and train ride at the SPC Ardmona Kidstown playground.
It was such a hot day! We followed that up with a visit to Aquamoves which was a heap of fun for the kids. I didn't even take my camera in but the facilities are great! Quite a challenge with one set of adult eyes and 5 kids in water though...
It was so much fun celebrating our big 9 year old!
