Loving my Louis...

On Friday we went to the pools with Mothers group.  Louis loved it.  He sat in a little floaty and even went under the water for a moment.  We had lots of giggles together today.

He's loving his apple...

and playtime on the floor with all of his toys...

Nanna watched Louis so I could go food shopping on Saturday.  I'm not sure where Michael was but must have been away.   He was loving his big cup!

What a cool dude...

Shower with Dad...he was happy enough with the water running over him.  Honestly, I must be the luckiest Mum ever!

All rugged up in Pyjamas after his shower.

That's February...what a great month we had with our little man...

Weekend at Bonnie Doon

We had a great time visiting Oma and Opa for the weekend.  Louis showed of his sitting up skills in the bouncer.

It was hot and so I covered him up as we trekked down to the shed to check up the project race car.

 Louis doesn't look too sure!

Neither do I!  Haha.

We had a fun weekend!  It's so nice to get out of the house sometimes and to catch up with family.

What a spunk...

Louis had his 4 month vaccinations this week...poor little munchkin.  His sleep has settled a lot and he is having 3-4 hours a day in naps and around 12 hours overnight.  He still has those rotten nights though where he can wake up constantly though.  We went to the movies again which was nice for a relax.
I bought Louis a cute little doggy toy.

Louis came to work with me and did really well.  Makes it a lot easier now that he's little older.  He is having big laughs and chats together.

On Friday Louis rolled for the first time! Woohoo!  So he was 4 months, 2 weeks and 1 day!  From back to front and especially did it for Dad.

Loving this Mummy business...

Life is pretty great right now.  Louis has been turning his head and looking like he'll get ready to roll soon.  I bought him some cute little shoes!

We have a great little play on the couch together each day.  I love making him giggle.  Louis is eating a heap of solids as well as his milk feeds and I wake him for a 10.30pm dream feed also.

We went to the movies again and watched "Walk the line" and Louis was great.  He ate pumpkin for the first time and loved it.  He ate 2 icecubes worth!

Wednesday 09th Feb: 4 months old!!

At Mothers group this week Louis saw a dog and thought it was the most interesting thing.  Robbie and Lea babysat Louis while we went out to Luna Park for the night for Valentines Day.

Where's Louis? Haha.

I had to teach on Saturday and Louis wouldn't have a bottle for Michael.  I think the ship has sailed as he's just not interested in it anymore after having such a big break without it over Christmas.

On Sunday we had lunch at Nannas house.  Luke and Kelly adore Louis.

Love those kids.

First foods...

February was off to a great start with Louis and I heading out to a Mum and bubs movie.  We watched Memoirs of a Geisha and I was a little worried because I forgot the dummy but he did really well considering.  I just walked out if he started grizzling and then came back in.  It was nice to watch a chick flick.

So at this stage I was already starting to get clucky again...crazy or what?  But seriously, look at this kid?  How could you not really.  He was in this super fun stage and smiling and playing.  So much fun.

Louis had some rice cereal and banana on Thursday and gobbled it all up.

Louis had another check up at the MCHN:
Weight: 6.2kg
Height: 60cm
So his gains have slowed down a little but he's growing strong and healthy.

Saturday I took Louis in the pram and we walked with Lea around Lilydale lake.  So nice.

Sunday, this happened:

His first taste of apple!  So glad I took photos because it was hilarious.

I love this photo of Louis and Michael...the two loves of my life.

Louis is having big giggles now.  I love it. This Mum business is alright...
