The rest of April...

 Louis was on all 4's after his bath and keeps pulling himself up to standing.  Oh my goodness.

Getting ready to crawl!!! 

I was sick with a cold so we just hung out together and played...

By the 25th every 2nd night Louis would only have 4 milk feeds.  So overnight he went 7.45-7.15am with no feed!! Wow!

He also was mostly just having the 2 day sleeps and would stay up for around 2 - 2 1/2 hours at a time.

He was always throwing things off his high chair and bopping away to music a lot.  He is still trying to pull up to standing on my leg!

We had a busy weekend with dinner with our friends Matt & Erica and a birthday lunch for Sharon and Robbie and Mums house.

Easter camping: Wilsons Prom 14-17th April

So this was our first trip camping with Louis!  We were excited and perhaps a little concerned as to how it would go!

I ended up in the back at one point to help keep him  happy.  It was a big drive.  

 We camped with my brother Robbie and his partner Lea.

A tiring but fantastic weekend.  Louis was chatting away a whole heap and constantly working o pulling himself up to standing.  He's growing way too fast!

A rough week...

We had a rough week this week after Louis had a bad reaction to his 6 month old vaccinatios.  He was not a happy camper.  He was up constantly all night and needed cuddles all day.  It was so sad for him.  Aren't I a great Mum for capturing his tears on camera?

On an upnote we had his MCHN stats:
Weight: 7.43kg
Height: 65.5
Head circumference: 43.5

The many faces of Louis...

He sits up all of the time on the ground now.  I just put a couple of pillows behind him in case he falls.  By Thursday he was starting to laugh again but he was still off his milk a little.

April life...

Michael had a birthday party at our home for his birthday which proved to be far too noisy for Louis who couldn't sleep.  I think that was the beginning of realising that having a fun late night with friends had big consequences the next day when as a Mum I couldn't sleep in and rest like I once would.

Mostly Louis's sleep was going pretty well by now.  He would have 2 bigger day sleeps or 3 naps and would lspee much better overnight waking for only one feed.  

I would spend hours sitting with Louis on his blankets and playing and chatting with him.  I didn't get much else done but that time was so special.
